SIP Academy, one of India’s largest after-school learning networks, has celebrated 22 years of operations, expanding to over 1,250 franchise centres and transforming the learning journey of more than 14 lakh children across the country.
The milestone was marked with a grand event at Grand Chennai by GRT Hotels, attended by top franchisees, alumni, educators, and partners. Over the years, SIP Academy’s flagship programs — SIP Abacus, Globalart, MiKids, and CriCo English — have helped sharpen skills, boost confidence, and instil lifelong learning habits among young students.
As part of its anniversary celebrations, the academy announced three new initiatives aimed at combining education, inspiration, and social responsibility. The highlight is the 10th edition of the Arithmetic Genius Contest (AGC), where national winners will get a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to watch a live ISRO rocket launch at Sriharikota — a move designed to ignite interest in STEM fields and bring children face-to-face with India’s space achievements.
In a green push, SIP Academy will also plant three new Miyawaki forests in Kolkata, Thanjavur, and Sivakasi, promoting environmental awareness and turning students into eco-champions. Additionally, a new national TV campaign for SIP Abacus was unveiled, focusing on real-life transformations of students into sharper, more confident learners.
“In a world chasing shortcuts, we’ve stayed committed to building real skills, brick by brick, child by child,” said Managing Director Dinesh Victor, emphasising that the academy’s next phase will centre on innovation, sustainability, and scaling impact.
With its blend of franchising success, community initiatives, and innovative learning tools, SIP Academy continues to reshape the after-school education space in India — proving that real learning often begins after the school bell rings.
