South Point School Excels in CBSE Cluster Tournaments, Brings Home Multiple Championships

Guwahati: In a remarkable display of talent, discipline, and teamwork, South Point School, Guwahati has achieved outstanding success across different sporting disciplines at the CBSE Cluster-I Tournaments 2025. The school’s athletes brought home multiple championships, adding yet another proud chapter to its rich legacy of sporting excellence.

The Girls’ Volleyball team lifted the Championship Trophy at the CBSE Cluster-I Volleyball Tournament 2025, held from August 14 to 19. With their grit and determination, the team outplayed some of the strongest contenders in the region to emerge victorious. Their triumph not only reflects their individual skills but also the spirit of unity and resilience that South Point athletes are known for.
Equally commendable was the performance of the Table Tennis team at the CBSE Cluster-I Table Tennis Tournament, hosted by Royal Global School, Guwahati, from July 8 to 10. The paddlers bagged several medals across different categories, with Nafisha Razia (Class 6) clinching gold, Gargi Saikia (Class 10) winning silver, while Akansha Saha (Class 9) and Divyansh Kashyap (Class 10) secured bronze medals. The Girls’ U-17 team also won gold, while the Boys’ team displayed exemplary skill and fighting spirit.
The celebrations continued with yet another Championship win by South Point’s Girls’ team at an inter-school sporting event, further underlining the school’s dominance in competitive sports this season. The players proudly showcased their medals and trophies, with the atmosphere echoing the school motto – “In Pursuit of Excellence.”
The recent string of victories reinforces South Point School’s reputation as one of the leading institutions in the Northeast nurturing young talent in both academics and sports.
