He lauded Royal Global University for aligning its vision with the National Education Policy, which emphasizes holistic education and skill-based learning. In his Convocation Address, Dr. Sudhanshu Trivedi described the Northeast as an inseparable part of a rising India, noting that the very name “Arunachal,” meaning the land of the rising sun, mirrors the region’s symbolic role in India’s growth and rejuvenation.
Chancellor Dr. A. K. Pansari, in his address, reaffirmed his dream of nurturing 50,000 leaders and entrepreneurs from RGU over the next decade to contribute to building a Viksit Bharat by 2047. Emphasizing sustainability, he reminded everyone of his motto, “Planting a Sapling: A Must Today, For Survival Tomorrow,” underscoring the university’s commitment to green consciousness and environmental responsibility.
The Convocation also celebrated the outstanding achievements of its students. The Chancellor’s Gold Medals were awarded to Deep Deka of MCA and Tanmayee Devchoudhury of BA English. Five special Salvers were presented to students for excellence in academics, cultural and literary pursuits, community service, and mentoring. In addition, 56 gold medals and 58 silver medals were awarded to meritorious students from various departments.
The grand ceremony began with an elegant Academic Procession led by the Registrar, members of the Board of Governors, Academic Council, Deans, Heads of Departments, and faculty members. It concluded with the rendition of the National Anthem, marking the end of a memorable day that celebrated learning, leadership, and inspiration.
